At Little Antlers Childcare, we believe learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Children thrive when they are given opportunities to explore, move, and experience the world around them in meaningful, hands-on ways.

That’s why our childcare program in Helena, Montana includes weekly enrichment activities, off-site field trips, and special experiences designed to support physical development, social skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

Learning Beyond the Classroom at Little Antlers Childcare

Weekly Enrichment: Little Giants Time

Every Thursday morning, children have the opportunity to participate in Little Giants Time at Flying Giant Adventure Park, from 9:00–10:00 am (weather permitting).

This weekly outing provides:

  • A fun, engaging environment for physical activity

  • Opportunities for social interaction and teamwork

  • Movement-based play that supports coordination and confidence

Parents are required to complete a waiver form and field trip permission form, and are always welcome to join us for these activities.

A Well-Rounded Learning Experience

We believe education is most impactful when children are exposed to a variety of environments and experiences. Our childcare program takes great care to offer enrichment opportunities that go beyond routine schedules and classroom activities.

Throughout the year, children may participate in:

  • Off-site educational field trips

  • On-site presenters and special guests

  • Seasonal activities that support curiosity and discovery

All field trips and on-site enrichment experiences are posted in advance, and parents are encouraged to participate whenever possible.

Transportation & Safety

When transportation is required for off-site activities, Little Antlers Childcare contracts with Last Chance Tours Trolley. This ensures children are transported safely and responsibly, with proper planning and supervision in place for each trip.

Child safety, communication, and preparation remain a top priority for every field trip and special event.
